August is here! July was a busy “wow” month!
Imagine yourself as the string and God as the water. We need to soak
ourselves in God and all that God teaches us, just like we soaked the
string in the water. Remember that God’s love, like the water, is
always flowing around us. The attraction between us and God must be
more powerful than anything else we’re attracted to. In Isaiah it says,
“I am the Lord your God who teaches you for your own good, who leads
you in the way you should go.” Amen!

This summer has been incredibly busy and I am deeply gratified to see
the commitment and love that many adults pour into the lives of our
young people. I see the steams that feed children’s ministry and the
channels by which we discern God’s call, I am certain is the greatest
source for any young person exploring his or her call.
