8:30 a.m. alternative service
The 8:30 service at Hillsdale United Methodist
Church welcomes all who wish to participate in a more informal worship
experience. Held in the Peterson Room, the hour long program includes lay
leadership, caring and sharing, prayer, scripture, music, a sermon and an
opportunity to discuss the sermon. The interactive nature of the worship
service helps build close friendships and allows for a rich variety of worship
experiences. Come and join us in this more informal setting as we worship
and explore our faith together.
10:30 a.m. service
is a bit more traditional -- they do meet in the Sanctuary -- you do hear organ and piano music. The first Sunday of the month is Communion Sunday, and the Tongan choir sings at this service. The Children Choir (Choirsters) sings, the Sunday School children do dramatizations of the Bible lessons, the Handbell Choir performs once a month -- its a lively service.
